Study Trip Committee
The Study Trip Committee is the committee that organises the annual Versot Study Trip. In the past few years, Versot has visited various countries, such as Greece, Portugal and Latvia. When you are a member of the Study Trip Committee, you get to pick the destination of the trip, the activities during the trip, the accommodation, etc. So if you like planning trips, if you are the one looking for the most fun activities to do during holidays with friends, sign up for the Study Trip Committee!
Amount of time required:
The Introduction Committee will organise the introduction camp of Versot and focus on activities organised before the introduction camp. In this way, the Introduction Committee helps new members of Versot to get to know Versot, Tilburg, Sociology and Tilburg University in a fun and casual way. Get ready to meet the newest members of Versot and show them the reality of being a sociology student in Tilburg!

The Introduction Committee will organise the introduction camp of Versot and focus on activities organised before the introduction camp. In this way, the Introduction Committee helps new members of Versot to get to know Versot, Tilburg, Sociology and Tilburg University in a fun and casual way. Get ready to meet the newest members of Versot and show them the reality of being a sociology student in Tilburg!

Freshers Committee
The Freshers Committee, as the name suggests, focusses on the freshmen of Versot. It organises fun, casual and lowkey activities for the freshers to bond over and get to know each other with. Last year, they organised a ‘Get to know Tilburg’ event, a Halloween movie night and various get-togethers where all the freshers just drank beer and played card games.

The Newsletter Committee keeps Versot up to date with the latest fun facts and gossip. The Newsletter Committee is responsible for the newsletter which is produced every block. The theme of the newsletter varies every block, and the theme of the next newsletter could be determined by you! The Newsletter committee interviews different Versot members, comes up with fun quizzes and keeps all the Versot members entertained! Do you love to write and share stories? Then this committee is right up your alley.

Yearbook Committee
The Yearbook Committee, as the name suggests, creates the Versot yearbook every year. As a member of this committee you will collect memories of all the different activities throughout the year and combine these nicely into one book. You’ll also choose the nicest photos that were made that year and learn how to design a good looking book!

The City Trip Committee organises the annual Versot city trip. This is a short trip that last for one or two nights. The city of choice will be in either the Netherlands, or surrounding countries (such as Belgium or Germany). During this short trip, you will be responsible for the activities and accommodation. It’s small, but fun!

City Trip Committee
City Trip Committee
The City Trip Committee organises the annual Versot city trip. This is a short trip that last for one or two nights. The city of choice will be in either the Netherlands, or surrounding countries (such as Belgium or Germany). During this short trip, you will be responsible for the activities and accommodation. It’s small, but fun!

Members Weekend Committee
The Members Weekend Committee organises the annual Versot Members Weekend. The Members Weekend is like the Introduction Camp, but for all Versot members! Being a member of this committee means that you’re going to be organising the Members Weekend, which includes taking care of accommodation, games, activities and the Members Weekend cantus!

(just for a few months, until the actual Members Weekend)
The SAC takes care of all the study related activities. This means that the committee is a little more serious than all the previously mentioned committees, however it is still fun to do! You get to determine what the Versot members get to see that is related to their studies. This means that the SAC organises bar lectures, trips to Versot alumni’s work places, trips to ministries and trips to various companies that could accommodate sociologists. Being a part of this committee can also look great on your resumé!

The SAC takes care of all the study related activities. This means that the committee is a little more serious than all the previously mentioned committees, however it is still fun to do! You get to determine what the Versot members get to see that is related to their studies. This means that the SAC organises bar lectures, trips to Versot alumni’s work places, trips to ministries and trips to various companies that could accommodate sociologists. Being a part of this committee can also look great on your resumé!

Committee of Recreational Activities (CORA)
The CORA is responsible for all the fun activities within Versot. This means that as a CORA member, you will be organising all the parties and casual get-togethers. Examples of fun activities are: a cantus, a barbecue, theme parties, game nights, the quiz night and many more things! Are you creative and original, are you a great party host? Then sign up for the CORA and bring the Versot parties to the next level!

The Acquisition Committee is the committee that gets sponsors for Versot and sets up contracts with businesses. This is the second more serious committee within Versot, but once again, great for your resumé! The businesses that are tied to Versot through the Acquisition Committee help Versot on the financial area. So the more businesses that are successfully tied to Versot, the bigger Versot’s budget! Do you know any businesses in Tilburg that you would like to get a good deal with (for example discounts)? Are you good at making deals that profit both parties involved? Are you a business person? Then sign up for the Acquisition Committee and unleash your inner-business side!
